Agave salmiana - Bronco - Verde

A magnificent species of Agave found in Guanajuato, Zacatecas, and San Luis Potosi. It is primarily known for its use in the production of Pulque and Mezcal in Mexico. This plant grows in a large rosette with wide, dark green to gray green leaves, reaching heights of up to 3 m (10 ft.) making this giant nearly 20 ft across and earning it the nickname "Green Giant"

It is well-suited for drier warm temperate areas and can tolerate regular watering and fertilizing. While it can withstand some drought and light freezes. Recently, it has gained attention for its high-quality Agave nectar, a natural sweetener with a low glycemic index.
